I’ve been making this same design swing for 20 years… I have NEVER had a swing break!!! They’ve made it through floods, thunderstorms and Hurricane Rita… Galvanized 5/16 Bolts / Nuts. Lifetime / Outdoor Screws Used. EVERY screw used is pre-drilled and countersunk to prevent splitting and splintering. Flip Down “Console” style cup holders included – Two 3 diameter cutouts accommodate most cups & tumblers. Cup holders fold up flush with the back of the swing in order to seat a third person if desired. On the seat and back simply loosen the nuts, adjust the angle (sit up straighter or lean back more) then tighten up the nuts again! Most of the swings that Ive soldpeople actually like to tighten down the nuts just enough so that when you sit in the swingthe back is straightthen you lean back to stretch the back to a comfortable sitting angle. When you get up, the swing will usually return to a more upright position. Everything is sanded with 220 grit sandpaper for an extra smooth finish. Galvanized Chain Set / Hooks Included. Customized “Handmade In Louisiana” stamp on every swing. Takes the normal person 10-15 minutes. Swing comes in only 4 parts. This helps me to be sure everything fits properly and no pieces and parts are left out of the box! The swing comes unfinished and can be left to weather to a natural “barn” gray… Or painted / stained to your preference. Custom carving available with this swing. I do have other fonts / styles available… Tell me what you’d like and I’ll see what I can do. All carving is done with an automated carving machine… VERY high quality work!
